Polyurethane is a particularly high-quality and durable synthetic leather that feels exceptionally soft against the skin. It does not tend to stick to the skin in summer and is therefore used specifically for upholstering ‘rounded’ furniture, as genuine leather would cause unwanted rippling in such cases.
