Please note:
The ground sleeve is only suitable for our MCW-A96 luxury catering cantilever parasol and the Meran Pro parasol. It is not suitable for the MCW-A39 catering parasol, etc. For other parasols, the hole spacing must be measured at the base of the parasol.

An umbrella stand takes up a lot of space on the terrace and can easily become a tripping hazard. With our ground sleeve, we offer you the advantage of a discreet design, whilst also increasing the usable space beneath the parasol.

We recommend the most stable method of parasol anchoring: setting it in concrete. Methods involving hammering or screwing in ground sleeves cannot compete with this in terms of stability. Once a suitable and permanent location for your parasol has been determined, a ground sleeve with a concrete base is preferable. This applies particularly in windy locations. And should the wind be sown and a storm reaped, we fear for your parasol, not for our ground sleeve.

Note on manufacture:
The ground sleeve was first stained, then phosphated and finally powder-coated. The phosphating serves as corrosion protection and thus makes the ground sleeve more durable.

Note on installation:
When excavating the square concrete foundation, the frost depth and a width of at least 40 cm should be observed. The concrete should be left to cure for approx. 2 days.
Simply screw the external turntable or parasol pole onto the ground sleeve (see illustrations).
