2 Reliable suppliers

All factories we work with are regularly audited according to a strict specification that prevents practices contrary to our values – including child labour, forced labour, non-compliance with health and safety laws, and discrimination based on race, colour, gender, religion, physical ability or origin

At Vente-unique, our commitment extends beyond online sales. We want to act concretely for a more responsible and supportive world. Through partnerships with committed organisations, we contribute to reuse and the creation of spaces that promote wellbeing. Explore our initiatives and see their positive impact.

Second-hand and social economy

At Vente-unique, we believe that a product can have more than one life. That's why we have donated goods worth 1.5 million euros to organisations like Le Maillon to promote reuse of returned and slightly damaged products and support the social and solidarity economy.

Social inclusion with Ateliers Sans Frontières (ASF)

We donate our IT equipment to the integration project Ateliers Sans Frontières. By giving the equipment a new life, we support programmes that help adults build a stable life and create new opportunities for the future.

Pink October with Everyone against cancer

In 2024, we supported the l'Échappée Rose initiative from the association Tout le monde contre le cancer / Everyone against cancer. Through our furniture donations, a mobile van brought moments of wellbeing to patients, their families and healthcare staff at 25 hospitals across France.

A relaxation area for children at Necker Hospital

Vente-unique supports Necker Hospital by furnishing relaxation areas and creative workshops for young people in the psychiatric department. Thanks to our furniture donations, this space is now a place that promotes both creativity and wellbeing for children and young people.

As a 100% online company without physical shops, we are already reducing our carbon footprint. However, we are taking it a step further by introducing responsible initiatives throughout our product delivery:

1 An energy-efficient warehouse

250 employees work at our warehouse in the Oise region, which was modernised in July 2020 with a focus on energy efficiency. The 80,000 m² warehouse meets the latest environmental and energy standards.

Our warehouse is powered by a 100% green electricity supplier. Electric lighting is controlled through three methods: a programmable clock for dock areas, a dusk sensor for outdoor areas and motion detectors in the shelf areas, effectively limiting energy waste. The entire warehouse is equipped with LED lighting, and offices are also controlled by motion detectors.

2 Delivery

To avoid failed delivery attempts, we offer customers the option to choose a delivery day that suits them. It is also possible to have delivery to pick-up points, even for larger packages, which helps optimise our drivers' routes.

3 Carbon footprint

We offset the carbon footprint of our website and our employees at headquarters by planting trees. Since 2021, we have been certified as a 'Net Zero Website' and have planted over 16,000 trees, equivalent to more than 8 hectares, collectively offsetting 26,000 tonnes of CO2.
